We are a society of golfers who believe the game lost something when the wood came out of it. Persimmon drivers, forged blades, and clubs honest enough to report exactly how you struck the ball, whether or not you cared to hear it.
We gather for proper tournaments, keep a Register of our members, and publish a newsletter when there is something worth saying. A small Committee governs the proceedings and takes itself quite seriously, by design.
Should you wish to join, a numbered membership tag is the way in. The Committee will see to the rest.
Enjoyment remains the entire point. The modern driver may stay in the car.

A sound best produced by persimmon meeting balata at the appointed hour.
Hats, hoodies, towels, and the occasional persimmon driver, each approved by the Committee before it reaches the shelf.
Rulings, observations, and the occasional unsolicited opinion on modern equipment — with photographic evidence.
Word of forthcoming fixtures, the results of those concluded, and assorted Committee proceedings — delivered to your correspondence address as they are decreed. No titanium marketing, ever.
The Committee respects your correspondence and shall not share it with titanium sympathisers.
The Committee has noted your interest. You shall be summoned when the next fixture is decreed.
